About the role
Based in Botany, this Auto Electrician role offers $60/hour and steady Monday-Friday hours. Responsibilities include diagnosing and installing electrical systems, reading wiring documents, and operating diagnostic equipment. A trade qualification is required, and experience with heavy vehicle fit-outs is a plus.

Duties

• Electrical repairs and diagnostics
• Electrical fit-out of trucks and trailers
• Understanding of electric and electronic systems
• Reading and following wiring diagrams
• Promote and maintain a safe, clean and compliant work environment

Skills and experience

• Relevant trade qualification as an Auto Electrician
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Ability to follow job specifications, wiring documents and install electrical systems
• Technical competence and mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of fundamentals of electrical wiring
• Experience with heavy vehicle fit outs preferred
