About the role
Based in Ingleburn, this role offers a mix of 50% field service and 50% after-hours breakdown work. Enjoy a $45/hour rate, with double-time pay for after-hours call-outs. Work a Monday-Friday shift with a week on/off on-call pattern. A trade vehicle is provided for the job.

Duties

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy vehicles
• Efficiently diagnose and rectify faults
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, at the required level of efficiency including documentation
• Willing to work a fair amount of overtime when required
• The ability to work competently when unsupervised
• Be able to work on call
• Commitment to fixing right first time coupled with focus on customer satisfaction

Skills and experience

• Heavy vehicle qualification and experience essential
• Ability to follow diagnostic procedures with a problem-solving attitude
• Work unsupervised on breakdown calls
• Scan tool experience
• Mercedes Benz parts experience
• Freightliner experience preferred
