CLINICAL NURSE CONSULTANT

Superior Care Group is a privately owned Commonwealth approved aged provider, operating since 1979. We seek a Clinical Nurse Consultant to support the clinical care team with the delivery of exceptional care to our 94 residents within our Wellington Point aged care service. The Clinical Nurse Consultant will report to the Head of Care Services and Centre Manager.

This position is full time Monday - Friday. As a part of a team of two clinical nurse consultants work within the home and will be expected to work an alternating later shift to assist with day long coverage.

The successful applicant will be an experienced registered nurse with the following attributes:

• Excellent people management skills;
• An ability to identify clinical care issues and resolve them proactively within the care team;
• Experience in clinical planning and resident management.
• Ability to provide mentoring of care team to develop best practice clinical techniques and documentation.
• Live within 30 minutes of Wellington Point.
• Available on call for clinical and care support/advice over the phone on a weekly rotating basis.
• Previous senior RN / Care Coordinator roles is highly regarded
