Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our growing team at Care Squared Kids. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families by providing tailored speech therapy interventions. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based support to children with a wide range of speech and language difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualised therapy plans to address communication and swallowing challenges
  • Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions to children with a range of communication difficulties, including speech delays, language disorders, and social communication issues
  • Collaborate with families and carers to ensure that therapy strategies are implemented effectively at home
  • Work alongside other allied health professionals to provide holistic care and support for each child
  • Track and monitor progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to meet the child’s evolving needs
  • Write detailed reports and NDIS progress notes in accordance with NDIS requirements
  • Provide guidance and training to families, carers, and educators to support children’s communication development
  • Maintain up-to-date client records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
  • Full membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • Experience in providing speech therapy to children, particularly those with disabilities or developmental delays
  • Strong understanding of NDIS processes and experience working with NDIS participants is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for supporting children’s development and improving communication outcomes
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
