About the Role
The Swinburne University Brand and Marketing team are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Brand and Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing, you will play a key role in developing and executing brand and marketing strategies to enhance our reputation and drive student demand, with a focus on international students (both in Australia and offshore), vocational education and training (VET), and research. You will oversee brand management, project management, creative development, and end-to-end marketing activities, while also leading performance reporting to measure marketing effectiveness.
This role requires strong collaboration with senior internal and external stakeholders to manage strategic partnerships and vendor relationships, ensuring best practice business solutions. You will stay updated with market trends, identify opportunities for system and service improvements, and analyse data to inform decision-making and innovation. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic planning within the broader Future Students and Marketing team, managing and mentoring a professional marketing team while fostering a culture of development, feedback, and succession planning.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated experience working in a senior marketing role – and achieving successful outcomes – for a large and complex organisation
- Demonstrated experience in planning, managing, and delivering marketing activities across numerous disciplines, segments, channels and markets
- Demonstrated experience in leading end-to-end marketing outcomes within scope, time, and budget
- Demonstrated experience leading a successful and highly-motivated team to deliver high-quality outputs to tight deadlines and within budget

Qualifications
Postgraduate qualification in marketing or communications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
