Duties & responsibilities:

• Diagnosis and management of all foot and ankle conditions
• Providing general foot care including treatment of ingrown toenails, corns, calluses, and fungal nails
• Management of musculoskeletal conditions such as heel spurs, neuroma, bunions, hammer toes, shin splints and tendonitis
• Care of high risk footcare and NDIS patients
• Use of lasers for fungal nails, shockwave treatments, and swift microwave therapy
• Perform nail surgery and pre and postoperative assistance with reconstructive foot and ankle procedures
• Options exist to provide assistance in both in-office and hospital based surgical procedures

Experience & attributes:

• Minimum of 1 years’ prior full-time Podiatry experience is preferred
• Professional Indemnity insurance
• Strong base of clinical skills to be built upon
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great teamworking and interpersonal skills with colleagues
• An adaptive approach and ability to quickly learn our system processes
• Experience with patient assessment and diagnosis
• Keen problem-solving skills for complex cases
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
• Current driver's license & Australian working rights
