We are working with a large QLD State Government Department, who are seeking a Site Supervisor to join their team, based at their Cannon Hill office. This role will see you responsible for inspecting residential properties, managing contractors, communicating with internal and external stakeholders and completing relevant paperwork.

The role:

• Prepare accurate tender and quote documentation for building projects.
• Prepare accurate estimates and quotations - including material lists and construction programs.
• Provide a level of supervisory services in respect to the delivery of construction, maintenance and upgrade work undertaken
• Undertake high quality scoping services including inspections/surveys of building elements and construction materials.
• Supervise and support office staff, field staff, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, including conducting safety audits and inspections.
• Ensure all job documentation includes safe work method statement or other risk assessment documentation as appropriate

About You:

• Proven supervisory skills with experience in maintenance/minor works
• Possess a good understanding of Procurement frameworks
• Knowledge of WH&S and compliance activities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office
