About us

Little Lane Early Learning Centre – St Kilda is a brand-new purpose-built service due to open in March 2025. Located in St Kilda, we will be providing the highest quality education and care programs to children aged between birth and school age, living in and around the local area.

We know that our staff will be integral to everything that we do, so we are ready to start knitting together a team of early childhood professionals with varying skills, qualifications and experiences to create a rich tapestry of diversity that will be able to support the Little Lane ELC philosophy.

The Role

We are looking for a full time Early Childhood Art Teacher within our St Kilda centre. The successful applicant will have recognised qualifications in Early Childhood Education and a tertiary visual arts qualificaiton prefferred.

The role will mostly be working within the atelier running our art program, however will also require the succesful applicant to cover breaks as a float educator.

The Successful Candidate Must Have:

• Minimum of a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood and Education (mandatory)
• A tertiary level visual art qualificaiton preferred
• Minimum 2 years in a similar position
• First aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
• Working with Children Check (VIC)
• Excellent understanding of EYLF
• Excellent communication and team work skills
