An opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven Maintenance Fitter to join and drive the maintenance team forward. Your new role

This job requires you to carry out both preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks on a variety of workshop and production machinery across the site.

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Welding - Basic
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions to minimise downtime.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures.
• Collaborate with maintenance team members to address maintenance needs efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Performing general plant and building maintenance work.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be a trade qualified Maintenance Fitter with experience in Australian manufacturing. Other attributes that will make you successful include:

• Ability to work cohesively with-in a team environment.
• Restricted Electrical licence (Preferred)
• Good all round welding skills (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Strong experience and knowledge of sheet metal machinery and equipment.
• Experience in maintaining and working on an assembly line.
