Program & Policy Officer – Contract Opportunity

�� Location: Nowra, Sydney, or Parramatta (WFH option available)
�� Start Date: 03/03/2025 | ⏳ End Date: 30/06/2025
⏱ Hours: 7 hours/day | 35 hours/week
�� Pay Rate: $450 - $520 per day + super

Are you an experienced Senior Program & Policy Officer with a strong background in policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and strategic advice? This contract role offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact policy reform initiative within the NSW Government.

Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Review & Analysis: Assess public submissions, extracting key insights and themes.
✔️ Reporting & Summarisation: Prepare concise reports to inform policy development.
✔️ Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure robust policy frameworks.
✔️ Research & Advisory: Support broader reform processes through research and strategic policy advice.

�� Delivering high-quality policy and project outcomes within resource constraints.

Essential Skills & Experience:
✅ Policy Analysis: Strong ability to evaluate and interpret submissions within a policy framework.
✅ Data & Insight Extraction: Experience in qualitative & quantitative analysis to identify key themes.
✅ Research & Critical Thinking: Assessing credibility of sources and contextualising stakeholder views.
✅ Report Writing: Producing clear, structured, and impactful policy summaries.
✅ Stakeholder Awareness: Understanding priorities and interests to represent diverse perspectives fairly.
✅ Project Management: Ability to structure deliverables efficiently and meet deadlines.
✅ Data Visualisation: Presenting findings in an accessible, visual format.
