Your part in our Lifeline team
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our Lifeline Geebung Warehouse one on a Full time basis (38 hours p/w).
In this role you will work alongside our distribution centre staff and volunteers to coordinate and execute pickup and delivery of donated goods. You will be in trusted to be a representative of the Lifeline and wider UnitingCare Qld brand as you will regularly deal with customers who have kindly donated items.
What makes a difference for us?
You will have previous experience in a multi-drop environment where general laboring and forklift work where a regular part of your day to day responsibilities.
You will need MR license, and Forklift Ticket and warehousing experience. Experience in delivery of furniture and bric-a-brac is desirable. Supplementing this you will have sound communication skills with the ability to demonstrate strong customer care.
We are looking for someone who has availability Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm.
The inherent requirements of this role are physically demanding you will need to be physically fit with the capability to complete tasks that require regular lifting, standing and walking.
