Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Data Modeler to join our team in Sydney. This is a critical role responsible for modelling various operational scenarios, including financials, project timelines, schedules, and other data-driven processes that support both daily operations and specific projects. Beyond traditional data modelling, this role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to AI-driven initiatives that will bring a new level of sophistication to our business operations.

As part of this role, you will also be working closely with our proprietary technology, which is a core component of our digital transformation strategy. You will help develop, refine, and optimise data models that inform strategic decisions, aligning with our vision of integrating cutting-edge solutions into the construction and manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, analyse, and maintain data models that support financial planning, production and manufacturing, project delivery, sales, and estimating.

Work closely with finance teams to create forecasting models, budgeting frameworks, and cash flow analysis.

Collaborate with project delivery teams to structure timeline models, identify project risks, and optimise schedules.

Support sales and estimating teams by structuring data models that enhance bid strategies and cost analysis.

Assist manufacturing and production teams in optimising workflows and resource planning.

Develop AI-driven models to enhance decision-making and efficiency across various functions.

Work with proprietary technology to contribute to its continued development, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Create dashboards and visual representations of data to simplify complex insights for leadership and stakeholders.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all models.

Contribute to process improvements by identifying gaps and providing data-backed recommendations.

Key Collaborations

This role will work across multiple business functions, including:

Finance Team – Budgeting, financial forecasting, cost modelling.

Production & Manufacturing – Workflow optimisation, capacity planning.

Sales & Estimating – Data-driven bid strategies, cost analysis.

Project Delivery Teams – Scheduling, risk assessment, program modelling.

Leadership & Decision-Makers – Providing key insights and visual models for strategic planning.

AI & Technology Development Team – Enhancing proprietary technology and AI-driven initiatives.

Who We're Looking For

A junior professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

A degree in Data Science, Finance, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with data modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning.

Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, or other relevant data tools.
