We are seeking a skilled Office Manager to oversee both our Newcastle and Port Stephens offices. The successful candidate will work closely with the directors and team to ensure efficient daily operations and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with the legal secretarial team, to provide administrative and transactional support for the needs of the firm.
- Work in partnership with lawyers to ensure critical deadlines and client expectations are met.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with staff, clients and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and office initiatives.
- Oversee facilities management, including equipment and amenities.
- Assit with employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Coordinate Safe custody.
- Liaise with IT service providers to resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate training and development for new and existing staff to ensure compliance with legal standards and firm procedures.
- Project manage delegated tasks to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the firm.
- Foster a collaborative, positive and efficient work environment for all staff members.

Essential Criteria
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably within legal, accounting or professional services.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with administrative systems.
