Our clients, operating in the wholesale distribution & logistics spaces, are looking for experience storeman/forklift operators to join their teams.

Starting with a full working week on a casual employment contract, there is the opportunity to grow into a permanent role for the right people.

Shift times: 8hr shifts starting at either 6.30am, 8 or 10am.

Mon-Fri roster with a view to permanency.

Pay rate: $34/hr-$40/hr +OT depending on role and location.

Your role and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Performing material handling operations using forklift
• Loading and unloading trucks and deliveries
• Preparing materials for storage or shipment
• Manual handling & container unloading
• Putting away stock to correct warehouse locations
• Checking for damages and reporting quality issues
• Moving in and out of a cold environment
• Getting off the forklift and completing manual tasks as required

To be considered for this role, the following are essential:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
• Current LF Licence & min 1yr counterbalance forklift experience
• Full Australian working rights
• Current Victorian drivers license and reliable transport
