ABOUT THE ROLE

Our EPOC Enviro division is seeking a motivated Procurement Officer with strong technical and project procurement experience to join our team in Emu Plains, NSW.

In this role, you will support procurement activities, ensuring efficient sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management to meet project requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule material requirements to support project plans
  • Source and procure equipment, materials, and project-specific assets
  • Develop request for pricing documentation and vendor information tracking
  • Maintain preferred supplier lists and quotation records
  • Manage supplier relationships to optimise cost, quality, and lead times
  • Conduct supplier performance tracking and factory acceptance testing
  • Ensure procurement compliance with company policies and ISO standards

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Strong understanding of engineering technical requirements and specifications
  • Sound knowledge of project procurement and supply chain management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and resource planning systems
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to make procurement decisions based on cost, quality, and risk assessment

Desirable

  • Project management experience or certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Experience in procurement processes within an integrated QSE systems framework (ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001)
