About the role

  • Demonstrate significant professional knowledge and judgment in all clinical tasks.
  • Take an active role in multidisciplinary teams, gaining exposure to advanced imaging modalities.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) and Quality Assurance (QA) programs, and contribute to workplace safety initiatives (e.g., WHS & Radiation Safety).
  • Provide exceptional patient care, understanding patient needs and ensuring comfort.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and actively support the education of undergraduate students and staff.
  • Participate in a 24-hour roster, including on-call work as required.

About you

  • Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration and a New South Wales EPA Radiation License, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Extensive clinical experience in a Medical Imaging environment, demonstrating the ability to perform a wide range of imaging procedures with a focus on patient care and safety.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, fostering collaboration, motivating colleagues, and aligning efforts to achieve organizational goals and improve patient outcomes.
  • A strong commitment to best practice in radiography, with a proven ability to solve complex problems, make informed decisions, and implement improvements to ensure high standards of patient care.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, coupled with a high level of computer literacy, enabling efficient use of imaging systems, patient records, and seamless collaboration within the team
