Our Client is currently looking for an eagar candidate to be trained as a Restoration Technician.

Please note that everything listed below will have training provided.

The role of Restoration Technician is critical in ensuring the continued success of our clients brand.

The incumbent for this role must be self-motivated, has strong work ethic and is eager to grow the business in the Restoration market.

You must have excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic, punctual, willing to work independently as required and be an active participant in an ever developing and evolving team.

The role requires a high level of quality and attention to detail that reflects in all aspects of their work to clearly communicate the details of each claim with the Stakeholders.

The role successful applicant will be required/expected to be performing duties across all Restoration fields, including but not limited to; Water, Fire, Biohazard, Detail Cleaning, Electronics.

The Technician is the first representative from our client to meet with the Customer, therefore a high level of professionalism with a large customer focus is essential to your success in this position.

While the Supervisory component encompasses many of the same key attributes, your ability to adapt to the varied needs of the Customer while tailoring an appropriate and timely solution is vital. The Technician is the team member that connects the Customer with our client – from first attendance and monitoring to finalising the claim in a timely manner. You must be results-driven and have an unwavering determination to achieve goals reflecting positive customer experience, quality of work and cost effectiveness.

To be able to perform all physical duties of the role, the employee must be able to adhere to all tests completed as per the JLG pre-employment medical and physical assessments.

All field staff will be required to complete a reasonable amount of overtime each fortnight as required

Daily Requirements:

• Adhere to all WHS requirements as defined by legislation and our client

• Identify and comprehending the scope of works required for each attendance.

• Identifying and escalate any questions or concerns to the correct resources

• Ensure you are clearly communicating with the customers and internal staff

• Ensure all equipment installed on sites is correct and to maximum utilization

• Ensure all relevant paperwork is being submitted correctly with all relevant and correct information to enable transparency for all staff attending the site or

reporting on the site before leaving the insured event. Including but not limited to the Initial Assessment and Damage Schedules, Risk Assessments, Timesheets,

Authorities to Proceed and Authorities to Remove and Dispose.

• Ensure to keep the relevant internal staff informed with any delays or concerns with any insurance claim

• Ensure all staff onsite are adhering to all Safe Operating Procedures and Safe Working Methods.

• Ensure all staff onsite have the relevant Personal Protective Equipment for the tasks

• Attempt to identify any variations to the scope and advise all relevant staff

• Upon receipt of new job, liaise with the client to obtain any further information relating to the job and build on the relationship from the onset of the job.

• Ensure every possible methodology is exhausted in order to promote the most efficient & cost-effective solution for our stakeholders.

• Taking all relevant breaks ensuring time frames are correct. (1-hour break each day)

• Must show a drive towards upskilling and training new and existing staff when / if required to the best of their ability

• On call duties as stipulated by the on-call roster
