About the role

Power Up Electrical Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Project Site Supervisor to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing electrical projects for commercial clients across the region.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical crews on commercial construction projects
• Management of multiple sub-contractors including but not limited to Communications, Security, AV, Solar etc.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Liaise with clients, consultants and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
• Mentor and train junior electricians to develop their skills and expertise
• Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise on site
• Maintain detailed records and documentation for each project

What we're looking for

• Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial electrical projects
• Proven track record of leading and supervising electrical teams on complex commercial projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to quickly resolve issues on site
• Thorough understanding of relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Proficient in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior electricians
