Are you a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with expertise in gearbox and power transmission equipment? Do you take pride in precision work, troubleshooting, and delivering high-quality repairs? Your Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Overhaul, repair, and service all makes and models of gearboxes and power transmission equipment.

🔹 Diagnose faults and establish root causes, ensuring long-term reliability of equipment.

🔹 Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning workshop, including tools and machinery.

🔹 Occasionally travel to client sites for on-site servicing and repairs.

🔹 Stay up to date with the latest industry standards through ongoing training and development.

What We're Looking For:

✔ Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification (mandatory).

✔ Strong safety awareness and adherence to workplace safety regulations.

✔ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools.

✔ Proactive, reliable, and results-driven with strong problem-solving skills.

✔ Basic computer skills for reporting and record-keeping.

✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively.

Desirable Skills (Not Essential but Highly Regarded):

🔹 Previous customer service experience in a technical environment.

🔹 Experience working with wind turbines.

🔹 Ability to mentor and train Trade Assistants.

🔹 Gearbox testing experience.

🔹 High-risk work licenses such as Forklift (FLT), Dogging, or Rigging (training provided if required).
