About the role

Exciting opportunity to join the team at dex Transport as a full-time HR Delivery Driver based in Townsville. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers locally and in our serviced regional areas. What you'll be doing

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customer locations within scheduled timeframes
• Ensure shipments are properly loaded, secured and unloaded at the destination
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining customer signatures and providing feedback on any issues
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service and be a positive ambassador for the dex Transport brand
• Assist with other warehouse or logistics duties as required

What we're looking for

• Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) licence with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar delivery driver role, preferably in the transport or logistics industry
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
• Physical fitness and the capability to load, unload and manoeuvre goods
