What You’ll Be Doing

This is a role that requires both brains and brawn. You’ll be an essential part of our operations, ensuring the seamless movement of freight while optimising efficiency, safety, and customer service. Some of your key responsibilities include:

Operations & Planning: Coordinate deliveries and pickups, maximising fleet efficiency and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Customer Service: Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, problem-solve on the go, and maintain strong client relationships.

Driver Coordination: Manage driver schedules, maintain compliance with fatigue management laws, and support our team’s well-being.

Warehouse & Fleet Support: Jump in where needed—whether it’s driving, loading/unloading freight, or using logistics software to keep everything running smoothly.

Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, monitor fleet performance, and provide reports to management.

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone with the right mix of attitude, skills, and a willingness to learn. While transport experience is preferred, full on-the-job training is provided—so if you’re keen to grow, we’re keen to teach!

Essential Qualities:

Quick-thinking and able to problem-solve under pressure.

Confident with computers and able to learn new systems quickly.

Strong attention to detail and good with numbers.

Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Physically fit—this is an active role with plenty of moving around.

Preferred (But Not Required):

HC & FL licenses (or willingness to obtain them).

Prior experience in transport or logistics.

The Details

Location: Sunshine Coast

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary: $31.36 per hour + overtime (as per the Clerks - Private Sector Award 2010, Level 5)

Superannuation: Paid at the government-stipulated rate
