The Role

FourQuarters are seeking an experienced Credit Officer to join a medium sized Credit team that sits under the finance function. This well tenured team handles various functions including financial and management accounting, trust accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, banking, and practice support.

As a Credit Officer reporting to the Credit Manager, you will work closely with Partners to manage debtors and collections. This role is key to our credit control function and involves:

• Managing debtor collections for national insurance clients via calls and emails
• Liaising with partners to assist in collecting clients' outstanding debts
• Resolving client queries and assisting with unidentified deposits
• Maintaining and improving processes for financial transactions

About You?

• Have 4 years+ of experience in credit control, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
• Experience with debtor collections for insurance clients is highly desirable
• A proven track record in reducing debt with a focus on cash flow
• Strong decision-making skills and relationship-building abilities
• Capability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent customer service, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A proactive attitude and high level of enthusiasm

Location: Melbourne, CBD with Hybrid (Work From Home & Modern Office)
Salary:$75,000 - $85,000 + Super
