Based in Gordon, Gusto's Home Hub offers an extensive range of cleaning, gardening and home maintenance (handyperson) services to private, NDIS and aged care clients in their own homes.

What we are looking for

We are currently looking for a number of experienced cleaners on Sydney’s north shore and northern beaches to join our team.

Our ideal candidates will be committed to the long term success of our company and will demonstrate this with their reliability, work ethic and attention to detail.

All applicants MUST HAVE THEIR OWN CAR and be willing to work in the following suburbs and surrounds:

Wollstonecraft, North Sydney, McMahons Point, Milsons Point, Northbridge, Cammeray, Mosman, Artarmon, Chatswood, Willoughby, Hornsby, Turramurra, Riverview, Lane Cove, Gladesville, North Ryde, Carlingford, Macquarie Park, Mona Vale, Church Point, Dee Why, Narrabeen, Warriewood, Elanora Heights, Frenches Forest, Allambie Heights, Narraweena, Manly.

Qualifications & Experience

Please do not apply if you do not meet the following criteria.

We are looking for dedicated and reliable team members who take pride in their work and have the following

• Own car and current drivers license essential
• Willingness to travel to the suburbs listed above - we will try to keep you within a reasonable radius so as to reduce travel however this will not always be possible.
• Must be available for a minimum of 3 full days per week (preference for availability includingTuesdays and Wednesdays) for varying casual shifts between 8am - 5pm weekdays (this will vary day to day)
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must show attention to detail and thoroughness in their work
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and follow our cleaning sequence of service
• Punctuality and good time management skills essential
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to take initiative and work independently when required
• A kind and compassionate attitude
• NDIS Workers Check will need to be completed upon employment

Tasks & responsibilities

Cleaning - general domestic cleaning including:

• Kitchens - including washing dishes, stacking/unstacking the dishwasher (dry and put away if needed/asked), cleaning bench tops including stove and splash-back, wiping down appliances and overall tidying, cleaning inside the microwave, wiping out oven and open doors if necessary.
• Bathrooms - including toilet, shower, bath, sink, mirrors, windowsills, cleaning and removing mould in grout and other areas, mopping floors, replacing toilet paper rolls if necessary, emptying bins, hanging up towels and general tidying.
• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Emptying bins
• Making beds and sometimes changing sheets
• Wiping down windows and windowsills
• General tidying of the house
