About the role

SKS Surveys Pty Ltd based in South Australia, is seeking 2 x highly skilled and experienced Licensed Surveyors to join our team in NORWOOD South Australia. As a Licensed Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of a wide range of surveying projects, contributing to the growth and development of the company. The role is a semi managerial office-based position. Tasks will include cadastral computation, preparing and allocating work for field crews, liaising with clients, searching, checking plans prior to LSSA lodgment, lodging and monitoring land division applications, dealing with application correspondence, corresponding with council and govt agencies

This is an opportunity to learn the planning process as it applies to land division projects

The package includes a late model Mitsubishi Pajero as company car (available for reasonable private use)

We can also offer flexible working from home opportunities for the right person.

The salary is based on hourly rate so you will be paid for all the hours you work.

What we're looking for

• A valid Surveyor's License and experience as a Licensed Surveyor in the industry
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in the use of surveying equipment, software, and technology.
• Experience using Auto cad and 12d (we can offer training)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• A valid driver's license

What you'll be doing

• Preparing accurate survey plans, drawings, and reports in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
• Preparing, lodging and monitoring land division applications through the Plan SA portal.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
• Providing expert advice and guidance on surveying-related matters to support project teams
• Mentoring and training junior surveyors to develop their skills and expertise
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software
• Ensuring strict adherence to workplace health and safety policies and procedures
