Josh Hospitality Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Hotel Services Manager to oversee the daily operations of our accommodation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for staff management, guest services, and ensuring compliance with industry standards to maintain exceptional service quality.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and oversee work schedules for accommodation service staff, including Housekeepers, Luggage Porters, and Doorpersons.
- Allocate duties and ensure effective coordination with other hotel departments to streamline operations.
- Supervise staff performance, provide training, and ensure adherence to workplace policies and procedures.
- Prepare staff rosters, manage attendance records, and ensure sufficient workforce coverage.
- Oversee front office and reception duties, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries.
- Handle guest complaints, address service concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with hospitality industry regulations.
- Conduct staff meetings to discuss operational matters and provide professional development opportunities.
- Oversee inventory and resource management, ensuring essential supplies and equipment are maintained.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant occupation (accommodation management) (additional experience is highly beneficial).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Sound knowledge of hotel operations, workplace safety, and customer service best practices.
Minimum Qualifications & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR Relevant Diploma with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
