About Us

Join OSAN Specialised Care Services at our Head Office in Bella Vista and play an essential role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to clients in both home and community settings. We are seeking dedicated Home Care workers to support our clients under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs), helping improve lives with every interaction.

Position Summary

As a HCW, you will provide clinically-based and personal care to clients with a range of care needs and complexities. You will work to support our Clinical Care Team to help clients maintain their health, independence, and well-being. This role offers contract, casual, and permanent part-time opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Health Monitoring: Regularly check and record vital signs, including blood pressure and blood sugar.
• Pain and Wound Care: Assist with pain relief strategies, dressing changes, and wound care.
• Medication Support: Prompt and assist clients with their prescribed medications.
• Education Reinforcement: Support clients in managing health conditions with guidance from RNs and ENs.
• Palliative and Cognitive Care: Provide palliative support, cognitive therapies, and assistance for clients with dementia.
• Emotional and Social Support: Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Mobility and Fall Prevention: Implement fall prevention strategies and support mobility and transfers.
• Nutritional and Continence Support: Assist with meal planning, hydration, toileting, and continence management.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking compassionate and empathetic individuals with excellent communication skills and a reliable, professional approach. You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team and have a commitment to high standards of care.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate III in Individual Support
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• National Police Check
• Previous experience in aged care or hospital care is ideal
• Proficiency in clinical tasks such as wound care and vital sign monitoring

Additional Requirements

• Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for community visits (if required)
