What you need:

• Relevant Certificate - Cert III Engineering - Diesel Fitting, Cert III Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent
• Standard 11 - In date Statement of Attainment
• Coal Broad Medical - In date
• Driver License - C class Open with no restrictions
• Working at Heights & Elevated Work Platform certificates desirable

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on heavy mining and other associated equipment.
• Attend breakdowns, troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify mechanical faults in machinery and vehicles.
• Perform inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Keep accurate records of service work and repairs.
• Comply with all site and company safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in Diesel Mechanics or similar field.
