RCPA is looking for a motivated and creative thinker to join our production team in Kilmore, Victoria, and help us grow into the future as a Supervisor of the Kilmore Pre-Cast Factory.

An Engineering background, manufacturing within concrete products is highly desired long with the ability to multitask and think outside the square.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To be considered for this position, you must have the following skills, experience and competencies:

  • Responsibility for all aspects of production in the plant
  • Ensure Quality checks are being completed during the manufacturing process on each production per day.
  • Assist with the implementation the Site HSE plan
  • Ensure all HSE system requirements are practiced for the management of OHS Hazards & Incidents
  • Leadership role for production workforce, defining the department organization and resource levels
  • Oversee the production operation ensuring all policies, manuals, objectives and customer requirements are effectively communicated
  • Improve performance to satisfy customers, increase efficiency and effectiveness of the business
  • Analyse output, utilisation and reliability trends and implement corrective & development actions
  • Manage labour and production consumables to ensure costs are within agreed limits
  • Develop short- and long-term cost down plans for all plant and equipment to reduce maintenance related costs
  • Coach, develop, train and motivate the Production Team on continuous improvement methodologies
  • Training and coaching of employees to carry out their roles effectively in line with an agreed training and development plan.

SKILLS & QUALIIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a Pre-Cast concrete manufacturing and or Engineering.
  • Broad and detailed knowledge of the concrete industry.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good Verbal and Written communication skills.
  • Forklift Licence.
