Looking for stable, ongoing driving work? We have an opportunity in Smithfield for a seasoned truck driver with a clear record with a minimum of 1 years experience truck driving with a MR licence & some previous experience in grease traps or waste pumps is HIGHLY DESIRED.

As an MR Truck Driver, you'll operate various vehicles to transport and recycle commercial waste (grease, water, oils) between workshops and wash bays. Comprehensive training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in tanker operations. This role involves handling valves, vacuum tankers, and other maintenance equipment, so you'll need to be physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work.

During quieter periods, you'll have the option to assist the lead operator with offsider work and enjoy early finishes if tasks are completed. Occasional regional runs (e.g., Newcastle) may also be part of the job, and based on your location, you may be allowed to take the truck home for convenience.

Location: Smithfield
Hourly Rate: $36 per hour

Shifts Available: 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday with flexibility & occassional Saturdays
Plenty of OT on permanency

What you need

• Current Heavy Vehicle licence (MR) with manual experience
• Must be fit, with a willingness to get hands-on
• Experience or knowledge of operating rolling tankers highly desirable
• Previous experience with tankers or grease traps/sewage pumps is a bonus!
