The Role

As Senior IT Manager, you will lead a high-performing IT team, overseeing infrastructure, service desk operations, cybersecurity, and business-aligned technology strategies. You will be responsible for optimising IT service delivery, developing technology roadmaps, and ensuring compliance with best practice frameworks. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary IT team across infrastructure, service desk, and development.
• Oversee IT service and infrastructure management, including networking, cloud, storage, and ERP systems.
• Drive IT strategy, business process optimisation, and technology roadmaps.
• Manage IT governance, risk, compliance, and security, reducing cyber risk.
• Build and maintain vendor and MSP relationships, managing tenders, agreements, and projects.
• Develop investment cases and engage with internal stakeholders to secure buy-in.
• Manage IT budgets, financial reporting, and cost-effective technology investments.
• Act as an escalation point for complex IT challenges across infrastructure, databases, and service delivery.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary IT teams.
• Strong background in infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
• Expertise in IT service management (ITIL), service desk leadership, and incident resolution.
• Strong project management experience across infrastructure, applications, and ERP systems.
• Vendor and MSP management, including contracts, agreements, and project oversight.
• Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and best practice frameworks, IT governance, and security.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge ideas, and drive business process improvements.
• Experience in Power BI, data analytics, and risk management is a plus.
