Infrastructure Property Officer – NSW Government

• Location: Wollongong + WFH (hybrid – 4 days office, 1-day WFH)
• Pay Rate: $58 per hour + Super
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week
• Assignment Length: Anticipated 12 months with potential to extend

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Officer to manage & oversee property acquisition processes, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements & delivering successful project outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop project proposals & solutions to meet time, quality & financial targets
• Provide expert advice on legislation impacting property acquisitions and transfers
• Manage & deliver projects in line with budgets & client expectations
• Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, valuers, solicitors & landowners
• Ensure all property acquisition practices comply with relevant legislation & standards
• Contribute to an integrated property transaction database for reporting & management

What We’re looking For:

• Strong knowledge of the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991, Crown Lands Act & relevant property legislation
• Experience in land & property transactions in NSW
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills
• A valid NSW Driver’s License & willingness to travel as required
