Job Description
As an Electrical Automation Technician at Encaba, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting both simple & complex electrical and automation systems. You will work on a variety of industrial control and automation projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards. Your role will involve electrical fault-finding, system testing, and collaborating with a team of skilled engineers and technicians to design, integrate, and commission automation solutions. A strong commitment to safety, quality, challenging yourself, and continuous improvement is essential as you contribute to our reputation for client satisfaction and project excellence.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Current NT Unrestricted Electrical License
- Unrestricted driver’s license
- Strong electrical fault-finding abilities
- Proficiency with computer systems and a logical approach to problem-solving
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new systems
Highly Desirable Skills
- Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, Telemetry, and VSD programming
- Instrumentation experience
- Hazardous area qualifications & experience
- Possession of a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC)
