Role Overview:

As a Hedge Trimmer at Modern Hedge, you will contribute to our reputation for exceptional garden and hedge care. You’ll engage in a variety of tasks from skilled hedge trimming to general garden maintenance, supported by a team that values your contribution and helps you to hone your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality hedge trimming, including shaping, pruning, and cutting back.
• Conduct height reduction of hedges and pruning of small to medium trees.
• Undertake general garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and overall plant care. Apply techniques for effective weed spraying and garden health maintenance.
• Ensure meticulous cleanup of all areas, maintaining our high standards of garden aesthetics.
• Operate and maintain all garden machinery responsibly, including chainsaws, hedgers, brush cutters, and mowers.
• Safely tow trailers and dispose of garden waste at designated facilities.
• Follow all safety guidelines and ensure efficient operation of equipment and task completion.

What We Are Looking For:

• At least 6 months of professional experience in hedge trimming.
• A current manual driver's license.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A keen eye for detail and take pride in your work.
• Chainsaw license and experience working at heights are advantageous but not required.
