About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician with solar experience to join our team at Western Plains Electrical & Solar Pty Ltd in Dubbo, NSW. As a full-time Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical & solar services and installations to our residential, commercial & rural clients.

What you'll be doing

• Perform a wide range of electrical installations, repairs and maintenance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
• Solar PV systems installations and servicing including battery storage and the occasional off grid system
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical and safety regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
• Contribute to the growth and success of the business
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

What we're looking for

• Fully qualified Electrician with a NSW electrical license
• SAA accreditation with grid connect design and install as a minimum. Battery accreditation desirable but training can be provided for the right applicant to achieve accreditation
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the electrical industry
• Proficient in electrical installations, troubleshooting and maintenance
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to occasionally work away
