What we are looking for.

We are seeking a talented DevOps / Software Engineer with a passion for delivering innovative solutions to join our fully funded startup team and play a key role in the development of our innovative platform.
Reporting to the Product Manager, you’ll work closely with the whole team to create a world-class solution that sets a new benchmark for digitisation in the industrial sectors.

What you’ll bring to the table (Skills).

• Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container technologies for deploying and managing applications with a focus on self-hosted solutions.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience setting up and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• IaC Experience: Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Logging and Monitoring: Implementation of monitoring and logging solutions across diverse customer environments.
• Version Control Systems: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for deployment processes, runbooks, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Understanding of RESTful Services and APIs: Ability to integrate and work effectively with APIs.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Strong understanding of web development fundamentals and best practices.
• Experience with Front-End Frameworks: Familiarity with popular frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with C#/.net: Creation of REST APIs, and use of ORMs with relational database.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Including the development of innovative implementations of business requirements.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous focus on design, code quality, and user experience.
• Team Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently within a cross-functional team.
• Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and take on new roles.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

What you’ll be doing (Responsibilities).

• Develop and Maintain Infrastructure: Build, test, and deploy infrastructure for scalable web applications.
• Assist in Infrastructure Selection: Select, test, and validate components for use within a new web application primarily focused on self-hosted deployments.
• Stay Current with Emerging Technologies: Continuously learn, experiment with, and apply the latest development techniques and technologies to enhance your work.
• Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, ensuring the smooth functioning of system infrastructure.
• Wear Multiple Hats: Take on various roles and responsibilities as needed in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Contribute to Product Development: Participate in brainstorming sessions, providing valuable input on product features and improvements.
• Project Management: Assist with planning and managing development projects to ensure timely delivery.
