Salary: $160,000 – $190,000 per year

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Salesforce Engineer to join a high-performing team and play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimising our Salesforce ecosystem. You will be working on one of our core business products, driving innovation and efficiency across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.

You will collaborate closely with our Product Manager, Director, and others to develop scalable, high-quality Salesforce applications. This role is perfect for a tech enthusiast with a strong development background in Salesforce and broader software engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Development & Architecture

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC (Lightning Web Components), and OmniStudio.
• Architect and build custom objects, fields, and page layouts to optimise system performance.
• Implement seamless integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware solutions.
• Ensure best practices in data integrity, security, and governance within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Develop and optimise workflows, automation, and validation rules to streamline operations.
• Leverage Einstein AI to enhance decision-making and predictive analytics capabilities.

UI/UX Customisation

• Customise the Salesforce Experience Cloud interface to enhance the client portal experience.
• Develop LWC-based UI components that are highly interactive, scalable, and user-friendly.
• Ensure UI elements align with backend logic, security protocols, and business requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define optimal user flows and customer experiences.Collaboration & Technical Leadership
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement end-to-end Salesforce solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and provide strategic guidance on Salesforce architecture, best practices, and security measures.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.

System Optimisation, Debugging & Troubleshooting

• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and optimise Salesforce processes for efficiency.
• Lead release management and CI/CD processes to ensure continuous improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Salesforce development and integrations.

Documentation & Security

• Maintain detailed technical documentation, including design blueprints and system architecture.
• Implement Salesforce Shield & other security measures to safeguard data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience (Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud).
• Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in API integrations (REST, SOAP) and external system connectivity.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, SFDX) and deployment pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email/SMS Communications).
• Salesforce Certifications (PDI, PDII, Marketing Cloud Developer) highly preferred.
• Background in broader engineering (SQL, Java, AWS, DevOps, Agile frameworks).
• Experience with Salesforce Shield and other security-related features.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)

• Experience with Salesforce Einstein AI for data insights and automation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with document generation tools (Conga Composer, Nintex DocGen, PandaDoc).
• Strong understanding of DevOps & Secure Coding Practices (OWASP, CI/CD Pipelines).
