Remote Registered Nurse – Northern Territory

As a Remote Area Nurse (RAN), you’ll use your understanding of Aboriginal cultures to provide personalized care in some of Australia’s most unique and remote regions. From managing emergencies to offering community education, your role will make a significant impact on the health and well-being of Aboriginal people. Role Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in remote primary health nursing (minimum 4 years).
• Highly desirable: Graduate Certificate in Remote Health Practice (or equivalent).
• Required: Remote Emergency Course (REC) or equivalent certification.
• Required for non-midwives: Maternity Emergency Course (MEC) through CRANA or equivalent.
• Required: Accredited Immunization Provider status.
• 4WD/Off-road Defensive Driver Training-Manual (Practical – One-off Course)
• To considered for the role, you must be able to obtain/meet other training and compliance requirements.
