Warehouse Supervisor with Logistics responsibilities

NCH Australia Pty Ltd is part of a US corporation that is over 100 years old with a presence in 55 countries. NCH distributes a wide range of industrial chemicals and we are currently seeking a full time, experienced warehouse supervisor with a strong work ethic who can lead our small warehouse team by example.

Our national distribution centre is located at Regents Park.

This is a full time position available immediately with a genuine opportunity for growth. This opportunity is ideal for a senior store person or current supervisor to step up to the next level.

Duties include:

Coordinate and prioritise all warehouse and order processing tasks.

• Pick, pack & order despatch
• Load & unload trucks
• Stock receipting & put away
• Blending and decanting of products into various UOM & samples
• Warehouse housekeeping

Skills and Experience:

• Current forklift licence, both high reach and counter balance experience is essential.
• Understanding of warehouse procedures and practices.
• Experience with dangerous goods, an understanding of chain of responsibility
• Demonstrated understanding of WH&S standards.
• Excellent people skills able to communicate with all departments
• Attention to detail and lead by example
• A proactive and ‘Can Do’ attitude
