Storeperson / Forklift Operator

• Day shift hours - 9am till 5.06pm (opportunity to work a 4-day week after probation)

The Company
Our client, based in Laverton, is an Australian company who operates in more than 20 branches across Australia and New Zealand. They provide more than 55yrs of electrical and engineering industry experience and specialise in motor control, power distribution and automation systems.
They are achieving excellent growth rates in this sector and are now looking for an experienced Storeperson who will thrive in a fast-paced but collaborative environment.

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

• Picking and packing orders via RF
• Palletising stock
• Receiving & despatching goods and completing appropriate documentation
• Forklift operations - both high reach and counterbalance
• Inventory control
• Cleaning and / or maintaining your work area
• Operating mobile plant equipment
• Manual handling inc container unloading

To be successful, you will need to have:

• Solid background in warehousing - Certificate II or III in Warehousing Operations highly regarded
• Basic to Intermediate computer skills
• Flexibility to work in all areas, not purely focused on Forklift Operations
• Organisational skills
• Must be an active team member
• Physically fit - be involved in manual handling
• Proactive attitude and have the ability to meet company targets
• A valid LF licence

Hours & Pay Rate:

9am till 5.06pm Monday to Friday
(opportunity to work 4-days per week, 7.30am till 5.30pm Monday to Thursday at the end of probation period)

$69,612k + superannuation
