Opportunity for entry level applicants interested in learning about timber fabrication!
Location: Narangba
Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
This opportunity is open to entry level applicants (that’s right, no experience required!) or people looking to upskill who demonstrate a willingness to learn, commitment, good communication, and a passion for learning about timber!
Throughout this traineeship you will work towards a certificate III in Timber and Wood Products Operations (FWP30322).
What's involved?
Throughout the traineeship duration you get to the learn the following:
- Visually assess materials
- Quality and product care procedures
- Produce sawn boards
- Assessing and maintaining cutters and blades
- Use of hand and power tools
- Chainsaw operations
- Receival and dispatch operations
- WHS procedures and housekeeping

The pay rate ranges between $18.07 - $20.61 per hour throughout the duration of the traineeship until qualified. This depends on your age and when you left school.
