About the Role:

An experienced Maintenance Supervisor is sought to lead maintenance teams across multiple regional sites. This critical role will be responsible for ensuring the effective deployment of resources and successful completion of planned and reactive maintenance. The Maintenance Supervisor will also oversee safety leadership, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, all while managing budget constraints and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of trades electricians, mechanics, fitters, and contractors.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities, including breakdown repairs, are executed safely and efficiently, in line with operational goals.
  • Manage and track planned maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee the use of SAP for maintenance tasks and ensure adherence to maintenance budgets.
  • Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (SHE) policies.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and performance management of the maintenance team.
  • Coordinate major maintenance projects and manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to drive efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven leadership and management skills with a strong focus on safety and operational excellence.
  • Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the business.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP or similar systems, as well as a sound understanding of preventative maintenance disciplines.
  • A trade certificate in electrical, mechanical, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage budget constraints while ensuring quality and timely maintenance service.
  • Experience in hazardous area electrical installation and maintenance would be an advantage.
