About the role

Scully Plumbing is seeking a skilled and motivated Office Administrator to join our team on a full time basis in our Arundel, QLD location. As our Office Administrator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our busy plumbing business.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document management
  • Handling incoming phone calls and inquiries with professionalism and excellent customer service
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating the calendars of our plumbers and management team
  • Assisting with the preparation of invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents
  • Providing support for various office management activities, such as inventory control and office supply ordering
  • Collaborating with the team to improve office procedures and implement efficiency measures

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or office management role, preferably within the construction or trades industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • A friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
  • A demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality customer service
