The role:
As an integral part of the finance team, you will report to the CFO but will partner closely with the broader business in providing insights to enable decision making through effective analysis, budgeting & forecasting, inventory management and reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Daily, weekly and month end processing, reconciliation, and reporting of all inventory transactions from production, purchasing and distribution, and related sales and returns.
• Responsibility for production and purchasing analysis and reporting, including manufacturing and purchase price variances.
• Responsibility for product and BOM setup and maintenance, price control and inventory valuations.
• Support sales and inventory analysis, including margin calculations and reporting.
• Support the annual audit function and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and relevant legislation.
• Support the CFO and Finance team for continuous improvement initiatives and process improvements; and play a key role assessing system performance and suitability.

The candidate:
The successful candidate will ideally be CA/CPA qualified, with relevant experience in a Management Accounting role, ideally in a manufacturing environment and with solid cost accounting skills. You will possess a strong continuous improvement mindset and are a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously or in a team. You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with non-finance stakeholders.
