Remuneration: $72,152.53 - $101,299.48 per annum
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
The Registered Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in line with WSLHD's policies and NSW Health values. They ensure nursing practices meet standards while promoting education and a safe environment. This role supports professional development and effective communication within healthcare teams.
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with Australian health standards and WSLHD guidelines.
- Uphold NSW Health policies, ensuring accuracy in patient medical records.
- Foster a culture of learning for staff, patients, and families.
- Commit to ongoing professional development through education and workshops.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment while managing competing patient needs.
Positions available at Westmead Hospital and at Blacktown Hospital Emergency Departments.

Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
Selection Criteria:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles and the role of the Registered Nurse in applying these principles.
- Demonstrated recent nursing experience in acute care or an emergency department.
