Qualified Diesel Mechanic required for immediate start, based in our workshop at Lonsdale

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of various asphalt and earthmoving equipment along with a small fleet of heavy and light vehicles. Opportunity for advancement within a private, family owned business environment.

About You:

• Relevant Trade Qualification in heavy vehicles/earthmoving
• Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
• Hydraulics, electrical fault finding and welding experience highly regarded
• Strong initiative and an ability to work autonomously
• Good communication and organisational skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work safely and effectively following safety guidelines and procedures
• Ensure fleet is maintained and compliant with company standards
• Maintain service records and documentation to a high standard
• Conduct preventative, scheduled maintenance and repair, along with breakdown rectification
• Maintain inventory stock and order parts

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have a valid driver's licence as a minimum, with a heavy vehicle licence being advantageous.
