A fantastic opportunity has come up for an experienced Tool Setter Assistant to help lead, achieve tool changes and running, fault finding, servicing and repairs for our client located in Edinburgh North.

This is a great chance for an experienced person in Machine Operating with fault finding & diagnostics to step up to that next level or someone experienced in Tool Setting looking for a company that values its people.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Assist the tool setter lead in installing expandable polystyrene tools into the EPS machines and getting the machine up and running.
• Maintains and repairs all aspects of the tooling including guns and seals, keeps tool setters work areas clean and tidy.
• Fault finds on the machines when required.
• Liaise with appropriate persons to source spares / equipment for tool change and locks out.
• Assist preventative maintenance / hydro blasting to optimize the tooling.
• To provide an efficient tool change, set up, running and fault find on the EPS moulding machines.
• To reduce downtime of the equipment whilst optimizing performance.
