Multiple positions are available at the APS3, APS4 and APS5 level in our Remote Service Delivery teams in NT, NSW, SA, WA and QLD.

These roles may include:

  • Remote Planner
  • Remote Participant Support Officer
  • Local Community Connector

The NDIA’s Remote Service Delivery teams have a vision to improve the lives of people with disability living in rural and remote communities across Australia. Our mandate is to provide a service that gives people living in rural and remote areas access to all elements of the NDIS: information and education, community connection, access to the NDIS, quality NDIS plans, access to services and ongoing support.

About you

NDIA’s Remote Service Delivery teams are suited for people who are passionate about working in their local rural and remote communities to support people in their communities with their NDIS journey.

What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goal.
  • Adaptable communication skills: Seeks to listen and understand others and tailors communication style and message accordingly.

These roles are located in NT, SA, WA, NSW and QLD, and remote working arrangements may be considered within these states. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
