Qualified Carpenters Required!

Amrick is a leading provider of contract labour and trade services to the construction industry. Since establishing over 10 years ago, Amrick has received multiple awards for it's growth and held a long-term membership with the Master Builders Association of Victoria.

Due to a growing number of clients and projects, Amrick are looking for qualified and apprentice carpenters to help with various commercial projects around Melbourne.

Duties/Responsibilies:

• Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures. Examine plans and determine the necessary procedures and time frame required to complete tasks.
• Cut materials to specifications outlined in plans to erect frameworks and lay foundations.
• Assemble and cut wooden materials to form structures and fittings.
• Assemble concrete formwork.
• Undertake defect work to fix existing fittings.
• Work with plastic laminates, Perspex, and metal.

Requirements:

• Commitment, drive, a strong work ethic and pride in your work.
• Valid White card.
• Valid Police Check beneficial but not mandatory.
• Own transport is beneficial but not essential.
• Full PPE and tools.
• Working With Childrens check beneficial but not mandatory.
• Additional tickets (EWP, Working with Children etc) beneficial but not mandatory.

Job/Package:

• Immediate start available.
• On-going work and the view of working across various types of projects as well as various stages.
• Overtime penalty rates.
• Weekly pay cycle.
