About the role

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver - Machinery Operator to join our dynamic team at Black Stump Farming in Muntadgin, Western Australia. This full-time position will see you playing a crucial role in our operation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and driving trucks to support our farming and production activities.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate a range of farm machinery and trucks, including tractors, harvesters, and semi-trailers
• Transport raw materials, equipment, and finished products between our farming sites and production facilities
• Perform routine maintenance and pre-operational checks on all vehicles and machinery
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and deliveries

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a truck driver and machinery operator, preferably in a farming or manufacturing environment
• A valid Australian driver's licence with a Multi Combination (MC)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
