Support and contribute to the efficient operations of the HR team by coordinating and delivering on a diverse range of human resources activities throughout the employee lifecycle. Working with the People & Culture Team, you will ensure a high-quality HR service is delivered to the business
The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties:
- Partner with managers and employees to provide expert HR guidance on policies, procedures, and employment legislation
- Dealing with employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary issues, and grievances
- Manage recruitment processes from job posting to onboarding, ensuring an excellent candidate experience
- Develop and deliver HR training programs on topics such as management skills, workplace policies, and compliance
- Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices
- Reviewing and interpreting legislation, awards, collective agreements and employment contracts, wage payment systems and dispute settlement procedures
- Developing, planning and formulating enterprise agreements or collective contracts such as productivity-based wage adjustment procedures, workplace relations policies and programs, and procedures for their implementation
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
